Returns, Withdrawal & Complaints

I want you to be happy with your order from Atelier Zacari. As Atelier Zacari is a small Swiss online shop, I do not offer a voluntary general right of return or exchange for products that are free from defects.

Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Orders within Switzerland

Under Swiss law, there is generally no statutory right of withdrawal or return for online purchases.

Therefore, products that are free from defects cannot be returned or exchanged unless otherwise agreed.

Your statutory rights in the event of defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered products remain unaffected.

Right of Withdrawal for Germany and Austria

If you are a consumer residing in Germany or Austria, you generally have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me of your decision to withdraw from the contract by means of a clear statement, for example by email or letter, sent to:

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your notification of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from the contract, I will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for your order.

Additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option offered are not reimbursed.

The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which I receive your notification of withdrawal.

The reimbursement may be withheld until the goods have been received back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

Unless otherwise agreed, the reimbursement will be made using the same payment method that you used for the original transaction.

You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing me of your withdrawal.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply in certain cases provided for by law.

This may include, in particular, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you.

A product is not considered personalised solely because it is produced only after your order is placed using a print-on-demand process.

For digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may expire before the end of the withdrawal period only where the applicable legal requirements are met, including your express consent to begin performance before the end of the withdrawal period and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, contains a defect or you receive the wrong product, please contact me as soon as possible, preferably within 14 days of receipt, at hi@atelierzacari.ch.

Please include your order number, a short description of the issue and, where possible, photographs of the product and packaging.

I will review the issue and find an appropriate solution with you.

The requested 14-day notification period does not limit your statutory warranty or defect rights.

Briefpost Club and Subscriptions

Cancelling your Briefpost Club subscription applies to future renewals.

Issues that have already been paid for and triggered will be sent as scheduled and are not automatically cancelled or refunded solely because the subscription is subsequently cancelled.

Mandatory statutory withdrawal and consumer rights remain unaffected.

Orders to Japan

For orders delivered to Japan, any mandatory consumer rights applicable under Japanese law remain unaffected.
